On September 12, 2024, the feast day of the Holy Right-Believing Grand Prince Alexander Nevsky and Venerable Alexander of Svir, the heavenly patrons of Metropolitan Alexander of Astana and Kazakhstan, Head of the Orthodox Church of Kazakhstan and permanent member of the Holy Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church, is celebrated.
