Greeting of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan K.-J.K. Tokayev on the Feast of Christ’s Resurrection

12 April 2026. The President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Kemelovich Tokayev, congratulated the people of Kazakhstan on the feast of the Bright Resurrection of Christ:

I congratulate you on the Bright Resurrection of Christ – Easter.

This significant day holds a special place in the Christian calendar, symbolizing love, hope, and spiritual renewal. The feast of Easter and the fast preceding it instill in the hearts of believers the ideals of compassion, mercy, good neighborliness, and mutual assistance.

Orthodoxy makes a significant contribution to strengthening in our society the principles of justice, peaceableness, tolerance, and trust. The Paschal customs handed down from generation to generation help preserve family traditions, strengthen morality, and teach respect for elders and care for one’s neighbor.

At the foundation of our country’s development are national unity and interconfessional harmony, together with the harmonious combination of traditional values and comprehensive modernization. The People’s Constitution adopted in the referendum has become a vivid embodiment of our nation’s aspiration to live and work in a progressive country in an atmosphere of peace and stability, the rule of law and order, knowledge and innovation, love of nature, and cleanliness.

I am convinced that our shared responsibility for the future of our Motherland will help us overcome any challenges and achieve the goals we have set.
