The Head of the Orthodox Church of Kazakhstan, Metropolitan Alexander of Astana and Kazakhstan, was congratulated on the 35th anniversary of his archpastoral service by the Chairman of the Commission on Healthcare of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation, Director of the National Medical Research Center for Otorhinolaryngology of the FMBA of Russia, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation, Professor Nikolay Arkadyevich Daikhes:

“Your Eminence, esteemed Metropolitan Alexander!

I congratulate you on this significant occasion – the 35th anniversary of your archpastoral consecration!

For many years, you have faithfully served in the high and responsible position of spiritual leader of the Orthodox faithful in the Republic of Kazakhstan. As the Head of the Kazakhstan Metropolitan District, you bear responsibility for the souls of millions of our compatriots.

From your youth, you have devoted yourself to serving God and people, earning a reputation throughout these years of noble service as a wise archpastor and leader who deeply loves the Church and the Fatherland. Your sincerity, kindness, dedication, responsible attitude to your duties, deep faith, and great diligence have earned the love of a vast number of people, the respect of the public, and the trust of the governmental leadership of both Russia and Kazakhstan.

By leading the second-largest religious denomination in the Republic, you contribute to preserving interethnic peace and interreligious harmony in the Central Asian region, fostering the development of cultural and humanitarian cooperation between Russia and Kazakhstan.

I sincerely wish you health, well-being, inexhaustible energy, and continued success in your spiritual service.”
