February 13, 2025 – Astana. With the blessing of Metropolitan Alexander of Astana and Kazakhstan, the keyholder of the Dormition Cathedral in Astana, Protopriest Dimitry Baydek, took part in a meeting with beneficiaries of the “Resocialization Center for People in Difficult Life Situations” under the administration of the capital of the Republic.
The event was organized by the Department of Internal Affairs of the metropolis.
The meeting was attended by police representatives, doctors, staff members, and residents of the rehabilitation center.
The central topics of discussion included overcoming life’s difficulties and clarifying legal norms related to antisocial behavior.
Protopriest Dimitry Baydek spoke to the attendees about how spiritual life can help cope with trials and difficult life circumstances. The pastor also emphasized the importance of support from society and the state in the rehabilitation process for individuals struggling with addictions.
During the meeting, an open discussion was held, allowing the beneficiaries of the center to ask questions and share their thoughts.
At the conclusion of the event, the organizers thanked all participants for the constructive dialogue and expressed their hope that such meetings would contribute to creating a healthy environment within the resocialization process.
