(? - 1921) – Church Warden, Martyr
Commemoration Day: January 18 (January 5 O.S.), in the Synaxis of the New Martyrs and Confessors of the Russian Church.
Iosif Yakovlevich Bespalov was the warden of the Nikolskaya Church in the stanitsa of Talgar, Vernensky Uyezd, Semirechensk Region.
On January 18, 1921, he was executed by shooting by the Bolsheviks in the stanitsa of Talgar along with thirty-seven Orthodox parishioners.
He was canonized among the New Martyrs and Confessors of the Russian Church at the Jubilee Hierarchical Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church in 2000 for universal veneration.
