(1870 - 1931) – Priest, Hieromartyr
Commemoration on August 4 (July 22, O.S.), in the Synaxis of the New Martyrs and Confessors of Russia.
He was born in 1870 in the village of Titovo in the Tver district of the Moscow region. He served in the village of Spas in the Staritsky district of the Tver province.
He was arrested on March 11, 1931, on charges of anti-Soviet agitation. On April 3, 1931, he was sentenced to 5 years in labor camps, which was then changed to exile in Kazakhstan. He was sent in stages.
On June 18, 1931, he arrived at Karlag, where he passed away.
He was rehabilitated on April 14, 1993.
Glorified by the Council of Bishops of the Russian Orthodox Church in 2000.
