(1887 - 1937) – Martyr
Commemoration Day on October 4 (September 21, Old Style), in the Assembly of the New Martyrs and Confessors of the Russian Church.
He was born on March 1, 1887, in the village of Yenutyevo (Genutyevo), Zagorsky District, Moscow Region. He lived in the city of Zagorsk. Until 1926, he managed his own farm and engaged in trade. From 1926 to 1935, he was the warden of the church in the city of Zagorsk, where Archimandrite Maurikiy (Poletaev) served.
He was arrested on October 21, 1935. On January 8, 1936, he was sentenced by the NKVD Special Council under Article 58-10 to 3 years of corrective labor camp. He arrived at Karlag from Butyrka prison on February 9, 1936.
The session of the NKVD Troika of the Karaganda Region on September 28, 1937, decided:

To be executed by shooting.
The sentence was carried out on October 4, 1937, at 23:00.
He was glorified by the Jubilee Episcopal Council of the Russian Orthodox Church in 2000.
