A Meeting of the Diocesan Council of the Ust-Kamenogorsk Diocese Held

December 11, 2024. Ust-Kamenogorsk. Under the chairmanship of Archbishop Amphilochius of Ust-Kamenogorsk and Semipalatinsk, a regular meeting of the diocesan council was held in the spiritual and administrative center named after Hieromartyr Alexander (Dagayev).

Participants included: Protopriest Igor Kopylov, spiritual father of the Ust-Kamenogorsk Diocese; Protopriest Evgeny Yaganov, Dean of the Semipalatinsk Church District; Hieromonk Siluan (Magilev), Dean of the Ust-Kamenogorsk Church District; Hieromonk Nikodim (Avdeev), spiritual father of the Holy Trinity Monastery in Ust-Kamenogorsk; Priest Konstantin Dyakov, head of the diocesan office; and Deacon Ilya Kvan, diocesan secretary.

At the start of the meeting, His Eminence announced the agenda, which focused on current issues in the life of the diocese.

The council members exchanged views on improving the spiritual and educational work in the parishes and reviewed the current activities of diocesan departments.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Archbishop Amphilochius expressed gratitude to those present and imparted his archpastoral blessing.
