March 13, 2025. Petropavlovsk. A meeting of the Diocesan Council was held at the Spiritual and Administrative Center of the Ascension Cathedral, chaired by Archbishop Vladimir of Petropavlovsk and Bulaevo.
The meeting was attended by: Secretary of the Diocesan Administration, Archpriest Sergiy Pervushin; Rector of the Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul, Archpriest Sergiy Snopkov; Spiritual Father of the Diocese, Priest Alexander Denichenko; Dean of the Kyzylzhar Church District, Archpriest Dmitry Zhulsarin; Dean of the Mamlyut Church District, Priest Evgeniy Stolyarov; Dean of the Ascension Cathedral, Priest Mikhail Berezin; and Sacristan of the Church of All Saints, Priest Antony Shuvakin.
During the meeting, the program of events dedicated to the commemoration day of the heavenly patron of Northern Kazakhstan, the Holy Hieromartyr Methodius of Petropavlovsk, was discussed. As part of the celebrations, the blessing of the Spiritual and Cultural Center at the Methodius Church is planned.
Additionally, the council members outlined a program of spiritual and educational events to be held in observance of various commemorative dates.
The meeting also included an analysis of the current activities of diocesan departments and commissions and the approval of the agenda for the upcoming diocesan assembly. The attendees discussed pressing issues of church life at both the diocesan and parish levels.
The members of the Diocesan Council chanted “Eternal Memory” in honor of the ever-memorable Archpriest Dimitry Tapeev.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Archbishop Vladimir expressed his gratitude to those present and bestowed upon them his archpastoral blessing.
