Metropolitan Gregory of Voskresensk, Chancellor of the Moscow Patriarchate, expressed his condolences on the repose of Archbishop Anthony (Moskalenko).
“I am grieved by the news of the repose of His Eminence Archbishop Anthony (Moskalenko), who passed away during these radiant Paschal days.
The late Vladyka dedicated his long life to serving God and people, standing fervently before the throne of God for more than half a century. For 31 years, Archbishop Anthony carried out his archpastoral ministry at the Uralsk cathedra, where he worked to establish and strengthen church life, developing various aspects of diocesan activity.
His wisdom, kindness, and devotion to the cause of Christ will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
I lift up prayers to Christ, Who by His death trampled down death, for the repose of the soul of the newly reposed Archbishop Anthony in the dwellings of the righteous.
May the Risen Savior console all of you in your sorrow,”
– reads the message of condolences from the Chancellor of the Moscow Patriarchate.
