July 23, 2025 – Feast of the Deposition of the Honorable Robe of Our Lord Jesus Christ in Moscow; commemoration of Venerable Anthony of the Caves, and the martyrs Vianor and Silouan.
Bishop Vianor of Uralsk and Atyrau celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Church of Saint Mary of Egypt of the Annunciation Parish in the city of Aktau.
Before the beginning of the service, the hierarch performed the rite of the Great Consecration of the church.
Concelebrating with His Grace were: Rector of the Annunciation Parish Protopriest Sergy Ponich; Archimandrite Gavriil Tutberidze; Sacristan of the Church of the Archangel Michael, a metochion of the Uralsk Diocese in the city of Kaskelen, Protopriest Pavel Pridatchenko; Sacristan of the Dormition Cathedral in the city of Atyrau Hieromonk Bartholomew (Mostovshchikov); Rector of the Church of the Prophet Elijah in the city of Zharkent Priest Dimitry Kaplin; Cleric of the Annunciation Church in the city of Aktau Priest Michael Sokolov; Cleric of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior in the city of Uralsk Protodeacon Ioann Roshka; Cleric of the Cathedral of the Archangel Michael in the city of Uralsk Hierodeacon Arseny (Rybalchenko); Cleric of the Dormition Cathedral in the city of Atyrau Deacon Bogdan Mulikov.
The liturgical hymns were performed by the choir of the Annunciation Church under the direction of E. Chukalova.
The sermon after the Communion verse was delivered by Protopriest Pavel Pridatchenko.
The Liturgy concluded with a glorification of the martyrs Vianor and Silouan, followed by a procession of the cross.
On behalf of the concelebrating clergy and parishioners, Protopriest Pavel Pridatchenko congratulated Bishop Vianor on the day of his name saint, wishing him strength of soul and body, and the grace-filled help of the Lord in his ministry to the Holy Church.
The ruling hierarch of the Uralsk and Atyrau Diocese warmly thanked those present for their kind wishes and prayerful support, after which he delivered a sermon.
At the end of the service, the hierarch presented letters of gratitude to the benefactors of the Annunciation Parish.
