His Grace presented to the Head of the Metropolitan District the program of the 10th Congress of Orthodox Youth of Kazakhstan, which will take place in Almaty from August 8 to 11 by the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Rus’.
The forum program includes lectures on youth ministry, meetings with the clergy of the Almaty Diocese, an encounter with the author of the YouTube channel Seraphim, S. Sashliev, a discussion on issues relevant to the younger generation, an intellectual quiz dedicated to the New Martyrs and Confessors of Kazakhstan, as well as excursions, a concert, and a procession to the site of the martyrdom of the heavenly patrons of Almaty and all Kazakhstan – the Hieromartyrs Seraphim (Bogoslovsky) and Feognost (Pivovarov).
According to Bishop Ignaty, the delegates of the event will include leaders of youth associations from across Kazakhstan, specialists responsible for youth programs in dioceses and parishes, and guests from Russia.
