Regular Meeting of the Diocesan Council of the Petropavlovsk Diocese Held

7 November 2025. Petropavlovsk.

In the spiritual and administrative center at the Ascension Cathedral, a regular meeting of the Diocesan Council was held under the chairmanship of Archbishop Vladimir of Petropavlovsk and Bulaevo.

The meeting was attended by: Secretary of the Diocesan Administration, Archpriest Sergey Pervushin; Rector of the Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul, Archpriest Sergey Snopkov; Dean of the Bishkul Church District, Archpriest Dmitry Zhulsarin; Dean of the Mamlyut Church District, Priest Evgeny Stolyarov; Rector of the Church of St. Methodius, Priest Mikhail Berezin; and Keykeeper of the Church of All Saints, Priest Antony Shuvakin.

The working session began with the singing of the prayer “O Heavenly King.” The meeting was opened with a report by the ruling hierarch of the Petropavlovsk and Bulaevo Diocese, Archbishop Vladimir.

The archpastor informed those present about his participation in the meeting of the Synod of the Orthodox Church of Kazakhstan, which took place on 25–26 October 2025.

His Eminence also presented to the parish libraries of the city copies of his master’s thesis titled “Church–State Relations in Kazakhstan in the Contemporary Period.”

During the meeting, members of the Council discussed current issues of church life at both the diocesan and parish levels.

At the conclusion of the session, Archbishop Vladimir expressed his gratitude to those present and imparted his archpastoral blessing to all.
