An awards ceremony for long-serving employees of the main church of the Southern Capital, who have labored for the good of the Church, took place in the small hall of the Sunday school at the Ascension Cathedral.
By the blessing of Metropolitan Alexander of Astana and Kazakhstan, the ceremony was presided over by Vicar of the Astana Diocese, Bishop Veniamin of Talgar.
The event was attended by the Key-bearer of the Ascension Cathedral and Head of the Metropolitan District Department for Public Relations, Archpriest Alexander Suvorov.
Before the beginning of the ceremony, Bishop Veniamin addressed those gathered with a welcoming word. The archpastor thanked the cathedral staff for their many years of labor and devoted service to the Church.

After the presentation of the church awards, the hierarch congratulated those honored and wished them health, long life, and the mercy of the Lord.
