A diocesan assembly of the clergy of the Kostanay Diocese took place

By the blessing of Metropolitan Alexander of Astana and Kazakhstan, a diocesan assembly of the clergy of the Kostanay Diocese was held in the building of the Sunday school at the Kazan Church, under the chairmanship of the secretary of the diocesan administration, Hieromonk Gennady (Burdzhya).

The assembly was attended by the deans of church districts, rectors and clergy of parishes, heads of diocesan departments, and staff of the diocesan administration.

Opening the meeting, Hieromonk Gennady (Burdzhya) addressed those present with a welcoming address. The diocesan secretary presented a report in which he spoke about the results of 2025 and outlined a general plan of events of spiritual-educational, social, and youth-oriented character for the coming year.

This was followed by reports from the dean of the Kostanay church district, Priest Andrei Krutin, as well as the chief accountant and the diocesan legal officer.

During the session, the participants discussed a number of practical issues related to pastoral ministry, the organization of parish life, and the activities of Sunday schools.

At the conclusion of the assembly, Hieromonk Gennady thanked the members of the diocesan council, heads of diocesan departments, deans, and rectors for the work accomplished.
