The assembly was preceded by a general confession of the clergy and the celebration of the Divine Liturgy at the Archangel Michael Cathedral, which was presided over by Bishop Vianor.

The meeting was attended by the rectors of the city churches of the Uralsk and Priraly deaneries, the abbess of the Intercession Women’s Monastery, Abbess Varvara (Morozova), and employees of the diocesan administration.

Opening the meeting, the ruling hierarch addressed those present with a welcoming word.

The participants of the assembly sang “Memory Eternal” for Archbishop Anthony (Moskalenko) and Archdeacon Vasily (Kryukov), who reposed in 2025.

After that, the results of church educational activity and repair and restoration work at the parishes were summarized. Reports were delivered by the deans of the Uralsk and Priraly church districts.

The heads of the diocesan departments presented reports on their activities over the past period.

His Grace noted the need to intensify various aspects of parish life and to develop spiritual education.

The participants of the meeting discussed issues related to improving the quality of teaching in Sunday schools and optimizing construction and restoration work in a number of churches of the diocese.

At the conclusion of the assembly, Bishop Vianor thanked the members of the diocesan council, the heads of the diocesan departments, the deans, and the rectors for the work they had carried out.
