A regular meeting of the Diocesan Council of the Petropavlovsk Diocese took place

5 March 2026. Petropavlovsk. A regular meeting of the diocesan council was held in the spiritual and administrative center at the Ascension Cathedral under the chairmanship of Archbishop Vladimir of Petropavlovsk and Bulayevo.

Taking part in the work were: secretary of the diocesan administration Archpriest Sergiy Pervushin; rector of the church in honor of the Apostles Peter and Paul Archpriest Sergiy Snopkov; dean of the Bishkul church district Archpriest Dmitry Zhulsarin; dean of the Mamlyutka church district Priest Evgeny Stolyarov; rector of the Methodius church Priest Mikhail Berezin; sacristan of the Church of All Saints Priest Antoniy Shuvakin.

The working meeting began with the singing of the prayer “O Heavenly King.” The meeting was opened with a report by the ruling hierarch of the Petropavlovsk and Bulayevo Diocese, Archbishop Vladimir.

The archpastor informed those present about his participation in the meeting of the Synod of the Orthodox Church of Kazakhstan held on 17 February 2026.

A special topic of the meeting was the discussion of the agenda of the forthcoming Methodius Educational Readings, which will take place on 20–21 March 2026.

During the meeting the members of the council considered current issues of church life at the diocesan and parish levels.

At the conclusion of the meeting Archbishop Vladimir thanked those present and imparted his archpastoral blessing to all.
