April 23, 2026 marked one year since the repose in the Lord of the senior hierarch of the Orthodox Church of Kazakhstan, Archbishop Anthony (Moskalenko).
On Saturday of the second week after Pascha, the Head of the Orthodox Church of Kazakhstan, Metropolitan Alexander of Astana and Kazakhstan, together with hierarchs and clergy of the Metropolitan District, arrived in the city of Uralsk to honor the memory of the departed hierarch.
The Metropolitan presided over the celebration of the Divine Liturgy according to the Paschal rite at the Intercession Convent, founded by the ever-memorable Archbishop Anthony, and served a memorial litia at the place of his burial at the cemetery of the Transfiguration Church in Uralsk.
