Your Eminence, dear Vladyka!
Christ is Risen!
With this joyful exclamation we greet you and warmly congratulate you on the occasion of your birthday!
You have devoted your entire life wholly to God and His Holy Church. With complete dedication of strength, abilities, and talents, you have served at the altar of the Lord for many years.
Fulfilling the laborious work to which Christ the Chief Shepherd has called you, you patiently and trustingly in God’s mercy bear the cross of archpastoral ministry entrusted to you, unceasingly calling people by your wise word and the example of your life to active living according to the commandments of Christ the Savior.
As a zealous laborer in Christ’s Vineyard, devoted to the Church and loving your flock, you dedicate all your strength to the fulfillment of the Church’s saving mission – through your tireless efforts churches are restored and majestic cathedrals are built, church-state and interconfessional dialogue successfully develops, and the Church’s social ministry is actively carried out.
Dear Vladyka, on this special day we pray for your health, long life, and prosperity, and thank you for your wise guidance in our lives and for your heartfelt prayers for us. We always strive to follow your call: “One must pray much, labor much, and do good to people.”
May Christ the Chief Shepherd, through the intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos and the prayers of the New Martyrs and Confessors of Kazakhstan, grant you His gracious help in carrying the lofty ministry of Primate of the Orthodox Church of Kazakhstan and preserve you in good health, multiplying the days and years of your life, while saving and uniting under your episcopal omophorion the clergy, monastics, and the entire pious flock of the Kazakhstan Metropolitan District.
Truly Christ is Risen!
