On August 15, 2024, an interview with the Head of the Orthodox Church of Kazakhstan, Metropolitan Alexander of Astana and Kazakhstan, was aired on the Belarusian TV channel STV in the program "Touching the Light." The Metropolitan had visited Belarus from August 4 to 8 at the invitation of Metropolitan Benjamin of Minsk and Zaslavl, the Patriarchal Exarch of all Belarus.
The program's host, Oleg Lepeshenkov, Deputy Chairman of the Synodal Information Department of the Belarusian Orthodox Church, spoke with the archpastor about his connections with the Belarusian land, the holy places he visited, and the impressions they left on him, as well as other topics. The program was also broadcast on the RTR-Belarus channel.
