On the day of the commemoration of the Holy Martyrs Seraphim and Feognost, Bishop Veniamin presided over the celebrations at the site of the saints' spiritual feats and martyrdom.

On August 11, 2024, the day of commemoration of the heavenly patrons of Almaty and all of Kazakhstan—the Holy Martyr Hieromonks Seraphim (Bogoslovsky) and Feognost (Pivovarov)

By the blessing of Metropolitan Alexander of Astana and Kazakhstan, Bishop Veniamin of Talgar, Auxiliary Bishop of the Astana Diocese, celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Seraphim-Feognost Men's Hermitage in the Aksai Gorge, the site of the monastic feats and martyrdom of these holy hieromonks.

His Grace was concelebrated by the abbot of the Seraphim-Feognost Hermitage, Igumen Trifon (Pechkovsky); the cleric of the Ascension Cathedral in Almaty and spiritual father of the Almaty Diocese, Archimandrite Ioann (Sazonov); the monastery's cleric, Igumen Seraphim (Nikishin); the cleric of the Archangel Michael Church, Chudov Metochion of the Seraphim-Feognost Hermitage, Hieromonk Iakinf (Katan); the rector of the Parish of St. Xenia in Konayev, Hieromonk Pimen (Tkachenko); and other diocesan clergy. The deaconal rank was led by Hierodeacon Athanasius (Kozel).

The liturgical hymns were performed by a choir directed by E. Skorova.

Despite the difficulties of ascending to the skete located high in the mountains of the Zailiyskiy Alatau, a large number of pilgrims from Kazakhstan, Russia, and Kyrgyzstan gathered for the celebrations in honor of the feast day.

During the memorial litany, prayers were offered for the repose of the ever-memorable hierarchs of the land of Kazakhstan, the builders, benefactors, and beautifiers of the monastery, and all the Orthodox Christians of Kazakhstan who lived and died in faith and piety.

At the conclusion of the service, a glorification of the holy hieromartyrs was held.

Bishop Veniamin congratulated the faithful on the feast day of Saints Seraphim and Feognost and delivered a sermon to those gathered, speaking about the lives and martyrdom of the righteous ascetics of Aksai.
