September 30, 2024 – The Afterfeast of the Exaltation of the Life-Giving Cross of the Lord and the day commemorating the holy martyrs Faith, Hope, Love, and their mother Sophia.
The Patronal Feast is celebrated at the Church of the Representation of the Orthodox Church of Kazakhstan in Moscow – the Church of the Holy Martyrs Faith, Hope, Love, and their mother Sophia on Miusskaya Square.
The Divine Liturgy at the Representation Church was led by Metropolitan Arseny of Zvenigorod, the administrator of the North-Eastern Vicariate of Moscow.
Concelebrating with His Eminence were Bishop Feognost of Bronnitsy, Vicar of His Holiness Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia; Archpriest Georgy Klimov, Dean of the parishes in the Troitsky District of Moscow and rector of the Church of the Icon of the Mother of God "Unexpected Joy" in Maryina Roshcha, Moscow; Hieromonk Antony (Drobyazko), sacristan of the Church of the Holy Martyrs Faith, Hope, Love, and Sophia; Archpriest Pavel Vishnevsky; Hieromonk Victorin (Aseev); Hieromonk Daniil (Makogon); clergy of the church and visiting clergy.
Liturgical hymns were performed by the church choir under the direction of Anna Rozhnova.
In attendance at the service were staff of the Representation of the Kazakh Metropolis, parishioners, pilgrims, and teachers and students of the Sunday school.
The homily after communion was delivered by Archpriest Pavel Vishnevsky.
At the conclusion of the Liturgy, a festive procession took place.
The service concluded with veneration of the Precious and Life-Giving Cross and the singing of praises to the holy martyrs Faith, Hope, Love, and their mother Sophia.
Metropolitan Arseny congratulated the clergy and parishioners on the patronal feast and delivered a homily.
Following the service, a festive meal was offered to parishioners and guests of the parish celebrations in the church courtyard.
