May 3, 2026. Astana. With the blessing of Metropolitan Alexander of Astana and Kazakhstan, a festive concert dedicated to the Bright Resurrection of Christ was held in the large concert hall of the Spiritual and Cultural Center named after the Holy Equal-to-the-Apostles Cyril and Methodius.
Opening the musical evening, Archimandrite Sergiy (Karamyshev), Dean of the Astana Church District, addressed those present. Fr. Sergiy conveyed the blessing of the Head of the Orthodox Church of Kazakhstan to the audience and congratulated the performing groups and listeners on Pascha.
The festive event featured participants from the Astana Orthodox youth movement, as well as choreographic and vocal ensembles “La Dance,” “Bogatitsa,” “Razdolye,” “Voices of Astana,” and “INZHU DANCE.” More than 400 people attended the concert.
The audience was presented with a vibrant program consisting of dance performances, musical theatrical productions, as well as folk and sacred chants.
At the conclusion of the evening, Priest Sergiy Dianov, head of the Astana Orthodox youth movement, thanked the performers.
