On May 3, 2026, by the blessing of Metropolitan Alexander of Astana and Kazakhstan, an online carousel dedicated to the feast of the Bright Resurrection of Christ took place.
The event, organized by the Commission for Educational Ministry of the Astana Diocese, brought together pupils of Sunday schools and members of Orthodox youth movement clubs, as well as students of secular educational and cultural institutions from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Russia, Belarus, Lithuania and Latvia.
A total of 28 teams participated in the online competition – 4 from parish youth clubs and 24 from Sunday and general education schools.
The quiz included questions on the Gospel accounts of Christ’s Resurrection and the particular features of the Paschal services. In connection with the recent celebration of Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War, several questions focused on military history.
