May 25, 2026. Petropavlovsk. The Orthodox Gymnasium named after St. Sergius of Radonezh held its traditional Last Bell celebration marking the completion of the academic year.
The ceremonial event was presided over by Archbishop Vladimir of Petropavlovsk and Bulayevo.
Participating in the event were: Priest Mikhail Berezin, rector of the Methodius Church in Petropavlovsk; Priest Antony Shuvakin, Head of the Youth Department of the Petropavlovsk Diocese and dean of the Church of All Saints; Deacon Vladimir Bartol, cleric of the Ascension Cathedral in Petropavlovsk; representatives of the school administration, teachers and graduates of the gymnasium, as well as parents of the students.
The celebration took place in the school courtyard and was preceded by the singing of the national anthem and the raising of the national flag.
Opening the ceremony, Archbishop Vladimir addressed those gathered with words of greeting. The hierarch expressed gratitude to the staff of the gymnasium for their dedicated labors and wished the pupils blessed success in all their future endeavors, reminding them of the importance of laboring for the good of the Motherland.
Following the presentation of awards to the top-performing students, those present were treated to a festive concert program.
At the conclusion of the ceremonial assembly, graduates of the 11th and 9th grades performed a farewell waltz, after which the traditional Last Bell ceremony took place.
