July 6, 2026. The regular meeting of the Inter-Council Presence Commission on Theology and Theological Education was held via videoconference under the chairmanship of Bishop Methodius of Yegoryevsk.
Among the participants was Bishop Gennady of Kaskelen.
In his opening remarks, the Acting Chairman presented the results of the working group’s efforts to review and process comments submitted by dioceses on the draft document “The Veneration of Holy Relics in the Russian Orthodox Church.”
Following the discussion, the members of the Commission approved the draft document for submission to the Secretariat of the Inter-Council Presence.
