Booklet Published on the International Volleyball Tournament Marking the 25th Anniversary of the Discovery of the Relics of the Venerable Martyrs Seraphim and Theognost of Alma-Ata

July 31, 2026. With the blessing of Metropolitan Alexander of Astana and Kazakhstan, the Publishing Department of the Orthodox Church of Kazakhstan, with the support of the Eleos-Meirim Public Foundation, has released a commemorative booklet dedicated to the International Youth Volleyball Tournament held in the Southern Capital to mark the 25th anniversary of the discovery of the relics of the Venerable Martyrs Seraphim and Theognost of Alma-Ata.

The tournament, held on July 14–15, brought together 14 teams and more than 150 young athletes representing the dioceses of the Kazakhstan Metropolitan District, as well as Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.

The publication features reflections and testimonials from a number of the participants, along with an extensive photographic report capturing the atmosphere and memorable moments of the international competition.
