January 7, 2025 – President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Kemelovich Tokayev extended his Christmas greetings to the people of Kazakhstan:
Dear compatriots!
I extend my heartfelt congratulations to the Orthodox Christians of our country on the occasion of the Nativity of Christ!
This radiant holiday is a symbol of goodness and hope, uniting believers in their service to the noble ideals of humanism.
At Christmas, human hearts are filled with special joy, and Orthodox Christians strive to surround their loved ones with care and attention, showing mercy and compassion to those in need.
Orthodoxy makes an important contribution to strengthening the unity and solidarity of our people, promoting the values of patriotism, creativity, and responsibility that form the foundation of our national identity.
I am convinced that harmony and mutual understanding in our society will remain a reliable foundation for Kazakhstan’s sustainable progress.
I wish all Orthodox citizens of our country health, happiness, and success in all their good endeavors!
Greetings on the Feast of the Nativity of Christ!
