Bishop Ignaty participated in a meeting of representatives of traditional confessions with the head of the Department for Religious Affairs of the Aktobe Region, A.Zh. Turaliyev

On February 10, 2025, a meeting took place at the Office of the Akim of Aktobe between the head of the Department for Religious Affairs of the Aktobe Region, A.Zh. Turaliyev, and representatives of traditional confessions.

The participants included: Bishop Ignaty, Administrator of the Aktobe and Kyzylorda Diocese; Deacon Boris Fateyev, Secretary of the Aktobe Diocese; Imams of the city of Aktobe; Officials of the Akimat.

On behalf of Orthodox believers, Bishop Ignaty expressed heartfelt gratitude to Alimbek Zhanibekovich, who is concluding his service as head of the Department for Religious Affairs of the Aktobe Region, for his fruitful cooperation, attentive and trusting approach to matters concerning the activities of the Aktobe Diocese.

The participants of the meeting noted with satisfaction the positive dynamics of the development of interfaith relations in the region.

At the conclusion of the discussion, which took place in a cordial atmosphere, the parties exchanged well wishes for success in their good endeavors and initiatives.
