A Representative of the Metropolitan District Participated in the Meeting of the Human Rights Commission under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan

June 13, 2025. Astana. A meeting of the Human Rights Commission under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held at the Central Communications Service building under the chairmanship of Igor Ivanovich Rogov.

With the blessing of Metropolitan Alexander of Astana and Kazakhstan, Hieromonk Dimitry (Baydek), sacristan of the Assumption Cathedral, took part in the event on behalf of the Metropolitan District.

During the meeting, the Chairwoman of the Constitutional Court, Elvira Abilkhasymovna Azimova, delivered a report on the role of constitutional oversight in the protection of human rights.

Madina Erasylovna Abylkassymova, Chairwoman of the Agency for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market, presented information on the agency’s activities to ensure citizens’ rights to access banking and other financial services.

Following the meeting, a number of recommendations were developed aimed at further strengthening the system for the protection of human rights in the country.
