7 January 2026 The President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Kemelovich Tokayev, congratulated the people of Kazakhstan on the Nativity of Christ:
Dear compatriots!
I congratulate all Orthodox citizens of Kazakhstan on the Nativity of Christ!
This bright holiday fills people’s hearts with faith, hope and love for one’s neighbor. Christianity, like other world traditional religions, is imbued with eternal spiritual and moral ideals of justice, mercy, sincerity, responsibility, kindness and harmony.
Orthodoxy makes an important contribution to strengthening interfaith concord in our country, and to educating the younger generation in the spirit of patriotism, diligence and family values.
The principles of unity, solidarity and mutual assistance – these are an integral element of our state policy, an unshakable foundation of all our achievements. By showing mutual respect, trust and compassion, our society will confidently continue moving forward along the path of Justice and Progress.
From the bottom of my heart I wish Orthodox citizens and all residents of our country good health and great success!
May well-being reign in every home!
