August 4, 2026. Astana. By decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Kemeluly Tokayev, the Head of the Orthodox Church of Kazakhstan, Metropolitan Alexander of Astana and Kazakhstan, has been awarded the commemorative medal “Қазақстан Республикасының Парламентіне 30 жыл” (“30 Years of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan”).
According to the statute of the award, the jubilee medal is presented to citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan and foreign nationals who have made a significant contribution to the development and establishment of Kazakhstan’s parliamentary system.
The obverse of the medal features an image of the buildings of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, with a shanyrak along the upper edge and the inscription “1996 30 2026” along the lower edge.
