November 13, 2024. Shymkent. A meeting between Bishop Chrysanth of Shymkent and Turkestan and Akim of the Turkestan Region, Darhan Amangeldievich Satybaldy, took place in the reception hall of the regional Akim’s office.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Akim of Turkestan Region Y.K. Altaev, Secretary of the Shymkent Diocese A.B. Demin, and staff from the regional Akim’s office.
The participants emphasized the importance of regular cooperation between the clergy and local government representatives in promoting traditional spiritual and moral values, fostering interethnic harmony, and maintaining peace in society.
During the discussion, the parties addressed topics of collaboration between the Shymkent Diocese and the regional Akimat, particularly focusing on the preservation of the cultural and historical heritage of Southern Kazakhstan.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Darhan Amangeldievich and Bishop Chrysanth exchanged commemorative gifts and extended wishes of good health and success in their respective endeavors.
The meeting was conducted in a cordial and friendly atmosphere.
