August 20, 2025. Petropavlovsk. The XXIX regional session of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan was held in the building of the Akimat of the North Kazakhstan Region.
The session was attended by: Archbishop Vladimir of Petropavlovsk and Bulaevo; G.T. Nurmukhambetov, Akim of the North Kazakhstan Region; M.A. Azilkhanov, Deputy Chairman of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan; I.S. Ulanov, Head of the Department of Religious Education and Catechesis of the Petropavlovsk Diocese; representatives of religious associations and ethnocultural centers of the region.
During the meeting, issues related to strengthening national unity, increasing the effectiveness of informational and educational work, involving civil society institutions in the implementation of ANK projects, as well as the development of the institution of ethnomediation were discussed.
At the conclusion of the event, a ceremony was held to honor active participants of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan with letters of gratitude and the badge of honor Algys for their contribution to strengthening unity and harmony in the region. Among those awarded was I.S. Ulanov, Head of the Department of Religious Education and Catechesis of the Petropavlovsk Diocese.
