October 18, 2025. Petropavlovsk. A conference was held at the Kyzyl-Zhar creative center with the participation of leaders and representatives of religious organizations of Northern Kazakhstan, dedicated to the Day of Spiritual Harmony.
The forum was initiated by R.I. Kasenova, head of the Department for Religious Affairs of the Akimat of the North Kazakhstan Region.
The event was attended by: Archbishop Vladimir of Petropavlovsk and Bulaevo, Priest Evgeny Stolyarov, rector of the Church of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God in the city of Mamlyutka, Priest Konstantin Bartol, rector of the Protection Church in the city of Taiynsha, Deacon Vladimir Bartol, I.S. Ulanov, head of the Department of Religious Education and Catechization of the Petropavlovsk Diocese, representatives of the Akimat and religious associations of Petropavlovsk.
Before the start of the conference, the gathering was greeted by Deputy Akim of the North Kazakhstan Region Zh. R. Zhusupov.
Then, R.I. Kasenova, head of the Department for Religious Affairs of the North Kazakhstan Region, addressed the forum participants with a welcoming speech. Rouza Ivanovna congratulated those present on the Day of Spiritual Harmony of the people of the Republic of Kazakhstan and wished the leaders of religious organizations fruitful work in strengthening interethnic and interfaith peace and cooperation in the country.
During the meeting, speeches were delivered by leaders and representatives of religious associations of Northern Kazakhstan.
In his address, Archbishop Vladimir emphasized the importance of the work of religious communities in preserving the traditional values of Kazakhstanis and highlighted the need for informational efforts to prevent the spread of radical ideologies that divide society and undermine the foundations of the state and family.
Following this, the conference participants discussed current issues of interaction between the state and religious associations, the preservation of spiritual unity, and charitable activities.
After the main part of the event, a ceremony was held to present letters of appreciation from the Akim of the North Kazakhstan Region to religious and public figures. Among those awarded were: Priest Evgeny Stolyarov, Priest Konstantin Bartol, and I.S. Ulanov.
The forum concluded in a warm and friendly atmosphere with a shared tea gathering.
