The Administrator of the Petropavlovsk Diocese Participates in a Conference Celebrating the Day of Spiritual Accord
October 18, 2024. Petropavlovsk. A conference with leaders and representatives of religious organizations of Northern Kazakhstan took place in the conference hall of the Palace of Schoolchildren to mark the Day of Spiritual Accord.
 
The forum was organized by the Head of the Department for Religious Affairs of the Akimat of North Kazakhstan Region, R.I. Kasenova. Participants included Archbishop Vladimir of Petropavlovsk and Bulayevo, Secretary of the Diocesan Administration Archpriest Sergiy Pervushin, Rector of the Church of the Apostles Peter and Paul Archpriest Sergiy Snopkov, Dean of the Beskol Church District Archpriest Dimitry Zhulsarin, Dean of the Mamlyutka Church District Priest Yevgeny Stolyarov, Rector of the Church of the Holy Martyr Methodius of Petropavlovsk Priest Mikhail Berezin, Rector of the Church of the Protection of the Holy Theotokos in Beskol Priest Anthony Churikov, Deacon Vladimir Bartol, Chief Imam of Northern Kazakhstan Hamzat-khaji Adilbekov, Roman Catholic priest and Vicar of the Holy Trinity Parish Pavel Mrochek, along with representatives from the Akimat and religious associations of Petropavlovsk.
 
R.I. Kasenova, Head of the Department for Religious Affairs, welcomed the attendees, congratulating them on the Day of Spiritual Accord of the Republic of Kazakhstan. She extended her wishes for fruitful work in strengthening interethnic and interfaith peace and cooperation in the country.
 
During the session, presentations were given by Archbishop Vladimir of Petropavlovsk and Bulayevo, Chief Imam Hamzat-khaji Adilbekov, Roman Catholic priest Pavel Mrochek, and other religious community leaders. In his address, the Administrator of the Petropavlovsk Diocese highlighted the essential role of religious communities in preserving the traditional values of Kazakhstanis and emphasized the need for educational efforts to prevent the spread of radical ideologies that divide society and undermine the foundations of the state and family.
 
Participants then discussed current issues related to cooperation between the state and religious organizations, maintaining spiritual unity, and charitable work.
 
The main part of the event concluded with an award ceremony, where letters of appreciation from the Akim of North Kazakhstan Region were presented to religious and community leaders. Among the recipients was Deacon Vladimir Bartol of the Ascension Cathedral.
 
The forum ended in a friendly atmosphere, with a shared tea gathering.
