Vladimir Filippovich Dzhurinsky

(1885 - 1920) – Archpriest, Hieromartyr

Commemoration Day on December 22 (December 9, O.S.) in the Synaxis of the New Martyrs and Confessors of the Russian Church.

Born in 1885.

He served at the Turkestan Bishop's House. In 1914, he was appointed a psalmist of the Kazan Church in the village of Voznesenskoye, Kopal County, Semirechenskaya Region.

In 1915, he was conscripted into military service.

Upon returning from the front, he was ordained a priest and served in the church in Voznesenskoye.

On August 1, 1916, he was appointed rector of the church in the village of Sergeyevka, Vernensky County.

Executed by shooting by the Bolsheviks on December 22, 1920, in the city of Verny along with his wife, Martyr Euphrosyne, buried in an unknown grave.

Glorified by the Bishops' Council of the Russian Orthodox Church in August 2000.
