September 23, 2025. Almaty. In the fireplace hall of the spiritual, cultural, and administrative center of the Metropolis of Kazakhstan named after Saint Joseph (Chernov), Metropolitan Alexander of Astana and Kazakhstan congratulated L.G. Frolova, an employee of the Almaty Diocesan Chancellery, on the occasion of her birthday jubilee.
The event was attended by: Secretary of the Metropolis of Kazakhstan, Honored Artist of Russia O.N. Ovchinnikov; Rector of the Almaty Theological Seminary and Head of the Information and Publishing Department of the Metropolis Archpriest Evgeny Ivanov; Head of the Metropolitan’s Personal Secretariat Hieromonk Prokhor (Yendovitsky); Head of the Metropolitan’s Protocol Service Protodeacon Roman Golovin; Chief Accountant of the Almaty Diocese T.V. Korovnikova; Head of the Chancellery of the Almaty Diocesan Administration T.M. Sokolova; and staff of the Diocesan Administration.
With the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Rus’, Metropolitan Alexander presented Lydia Grigorievna with the Order of Grand Duchess Elisabeth Feodorovna, 3rd Class.
The high award of the Russian Orthodox Church was bestowed on the employee of the Almaty Diocesan Chancellery “in recognition of her labors for the benefit of the Holy Church” and in connection with her birthday jubilee.
Honoring the jubilarian, the hierarch said in particular:
“For more than three decades you have labored within the walls of the Almaty Diocesan Administration, whose growth and formation you have witnessed and in which you have directly and actively participated. You have always carried out your obedience with responsibility and professionalism. Your diligence, your serious attitude toward your duties ‘before the eyes of God,’ your hard work, and your kind and responsive manner toward people have earned you the love and well-deserved respect of both leadership and colleagues.
I wish that Almighty God, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort (2 Cor. 1:3), may send down upon you His abundant mercies along your life’s path. I lift up prayers to the Holy New Martyrs and Confessors of Christ who shone forth in the land of Kazakhstan for your health and well-being. May the All-Merciful Lord grant you strength of soul and body and preserve you for many and blessed years.”
