18 March 2026. Metropolitan Methodius of Perm and Kungur expressed condolences to the relatives and close ones of the newly departed servant of God Lyubov:
Dear brothers and sisters!
With deep sorrow I received the news of the untimely passing of Lyubov Pavlovna Milovanova, a talented choir director, an indefatigable laborer in the field of church singing, who made a tremendous contribution to the development of the art of choir direction in Kazakhstan and in the Perm land. For me, the passing of the departed has also become a great personal loss.
Over the years of her professional activity, thanks to her diligence and selfless devotion to duty, Lyubov Pavlovna, literally from scratch, succeeded in creating two professional episcopal choirs: the choir of the Ascension Cathedral in the city of Alma-Ata and the choir of the Holy Trinity Cathedral in the city of Perm.
Thanks to her responsible and self-sacrificing service, her talent and personal qualities, the newly departed earned the love and respect of many clergy, parishioners and professionals in the art of choral singing. Her labors for the benefit of the Church were recognized and appreciated at the highest level.
I express my most sincere condolences to her daughter – Matushka Elena, to her relatives and close ones, to the friends and colleagues of the departed.
I offer my prayers for the newly departed servant of God Lyubov. I believe that the Merciful Lord will grant His laborer abundant mercy and will lead her soul into the Kingdom of Heaven!
