Dear Oleg Nikolayevich!

Please accept my heartfelt congratulations on your 55th birthday.

For many years, while diligently fulfilling various positions of responsibility, you have consistently sought to serve the Holy Church.

You combine your work as a choirmaster with administrative responsibilities, teaching at the Alma-Ata Theological Seminary, and service on the Church and Public Council under the Patriarch of Moscow and All Rus’ for the Development of Russian Church Singing.

I hope that you will continue to devote your strength and talents to the benefit of Russian Orthodoxy, bearing abundant fruit in the vineyard of Christ.

In recognition of your service and on the occasion of this significant anniversary, I consider it fitting to award you the Order of St. Macarius, Metropolitan of Moscow, Second Class.

I wish you good health, peace of mind and God’s generous help in your continued endeavors.

With love in the Lord,

+KIRILL

PATRIARCH OF MOSCOW AND ALL RUS’
