With the blessing of Metropolitan Alexander of Astana and Kazakhstan, the foyer of the Spiritual, Cultural, and Administrative Center named after Metropolitan Joseph (Chernov) will host a presentation of the published works of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill, dedicated to the 16th anniversary of his Patriarchal enthronement.
The event is organized by the Publishing Department of the Metropolitan District of Kazakhstan and the Almaty Orthodox Theological Seminary. The curator of the exhibition is the sacristan of the Church of Saints Peter and Paul, Protopriest Kirill Shklyar.
Metropolitan Alexander of Astana and Kazakhstan will lead the book exhibition.
During the event, new books from the Collected Works of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow will be presented, including volumes from the series “A Word to Those Near and Far” and thematic collections such as “On Meanings,” “Only Life: A Dialogue with Youth,” “That the Fast May Be for Salvation: A Guide for the Penitent,” “Living Memory: The Saints and Us,” and “Happiness as Large as a Lifetime: On Family and Family Values.”
The books of the Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church are intended for a wide readership interested in his service, as well as for those who seek to engage with the words of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia in their work.
Visitors to the book exhibition will have the opportunity to explore stands displaying photo and video materials about key moments in the life and work of His Holiness, as well as his Patriarchal visits to Kazakhstan.
The exhibition will open on February 4, 2025. It is open to all, and admission is free.
