May 23, 2025. Petropavlovsk. The St. Sergius of Radonezh Orthodox Gymnasium held a festive event marking the “Last Bell” – the traditional celebration of the end of the academic year.
The ceremony was led by Archbishop Vladimir of Petropavlovsk and Bulaevo.
The event was attended by: Priest Antony Shuvakin, sacristan of the Church of All Saints; school administration; teachers; graduating students; and parents.
The celebration took place in the school courtyard and began with the performance of the national anthem and the raising of the national flag.
In his opening remarks, Archbishop Vladimir addressed those gathered with words of welcome. The hierarch, in particular, expressed his gratitude to the staff of the gymnasium for their dedicated work and wished the students blessed success in all their future endeavors.
Following the awarding of the top-performing students, His Eminence presented each graduate with a commemorative gift – a copy of the jubilee edition of the Bible.
The audience then enjoyed a festive concert program.
The ceremony concluded with the traditional farewell waltz performed by the 11th and 9th grade graduates, followed by the ringing of the symbolic “last bell.”
