With the blessing of Metropolitan Alexander of Astana and Kazakhstan, the Educational Commission of the Almaty Diocese has begun organizing the events of the eleventh season of the international youth quiz Orthodox Internet Carousel.
The project’s official website has published the schedule for upcoming intellectual competitions between teams from Sunday schools of parishes in the Kazakhstani Metropolis, as well as participants of the Orthodox youth movement of Kazakhstan Alpha and Omega and their peers from the CIS countries and the European Union.
The Internet Carousel is a team-based intellectual competition on various subjects conducted online. Using the Internet, participants are presented with specific tasks that must be answered correctly while strictly following a prescribed sequence of steps. Each round of the event is limited to seventy minutes.
During the academic year, Orthodox youth will take part in nine quizzes, the first of which, Over the Gospel, will take place on September 28.
