On September 7, 2025, with the blessing of Metropolitan Alexander of Astana and Kazakhstan, a festive concert “Golden-domed Moscow” dedicated to the Day of the Russian capital was held at the parish of the Vladimir Icon of the Mother of God in Chemolgan station, Almaty region.
The event was also timed to the 30th anniversary of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, the 30th anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the 30th anniversary of the Union of Cossacks of Semirechye, and the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
The celebration was organized by the educational commission of the Astana diocese and the Association of Russian, Slavic, and Cossack organizations of Kazakhstan.
Before the concert, an address was given to those gathered by the head of the educational commission, rector of the Vladimir church, Archpriest Sergiy Kazimirov.
Guests of the event included: head of the Russian House in Almaty M. S. Simakova; ataman of the “Union of Cossacks of Semirechye,” member of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan V. S. Shikhotov; chair of the Almaty city Ukrainian ethnocultural association T. A. Agapova; representative of the Afghan ethnocultural center of Almaty, deputy chair of the public association “Assembly of Zhastary” of Almaty, member of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan O. Mukhammadsaruar; deputy chair of the Association of Russian, Slavic and Cossack organizations of Kazakhstan, member of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan S. V. Shikhotov; member of the Council of Veterans of the Almalinsky district of Almaty, Colonel M. D. Nazarbayev; representatives of the akimats of Almaty region and Karasai district; members of the Union of Cossacks of Semirechye; students of Sunday schools; and parishioners of the Vladimir church.
Performances during the concert were given by: students of the Sunday school of the parish of the Vladimir Icon of the Mother of God in Chemolgan station; the ensemble “Cossack Glory” of the Union of Cossacks of Semirechye; I. Autov, leader of the band “Motor-Roller”; the ensemble “Dawns of Semirechye”; the folk song theater of Almaty under the direction of M. Granova; the dance ensemble “Flower Dance” led by T. L. Kizilova; head of the creative club “Russian Alliance” Yu. V. Fokeev; the flanking club “Mandarin”; and the ensemble “Lozhkari.”
