International Online Quiz “Over the Gospel” Held

September 28, 2025 - With the blessing of Metropolitan Alexander of Astana and Kazakhstan, the online quiz “Over the Gospel” took place.

The event was organized by the Educational Mission Commission of the Astana Diocese. Participants included students of Sunday schools, members of youth clubs, and students of secular educational and cultural institutions from Kazakhstan, Russia, Uzbekistan, and Latvia.

The intellectual competition was held in two subgroups: Sunday schools and youth clubs. A total of 25 teams took part in the internet quiz carousel (8 representing parish youth clubs and 17 from Sunday and general education schools and lyceums).

The quiz included questions on Gospel history. In connection with the celebration of World Animal Day on October 4, several tasks of the tournament tested participants’ knowledge of fauna and flora.

Based on the results of the competition, the following teams were recognized as winners and prizewinners.
