October 16, 2025. Almaty. With the blessing of Metropolitan Alexander of Astana and Kazakhstan, the Head of the Public Relations Department of the Metropolitan District of Kazakhstan and lecturer at the Almaty Orthodox Theological Seminary, Archpriest Alexander Suvorov, took part in the VI Eurasian Creative Forum titled “Safety, Sustainability and Innovation.”
Presentation on AI Ethics and Theological Anthropology
Archpriest Alexander delivered a report entitled:“The Kazakhstani Model of AI Ethics: From the President’s Address to Theological Anthropology.”
In his speech, Father Alexander presented an original concept of ethical principles for the development of artificial intelligence. This concept was based on the integration of state initiatives, international standards, and theological-anthropological perspectives on human dignity and freedom. Particular attention was given to a proposal for the creation of an Interreligious Commission on AI Ethics in Kazakhstan.
Theological Voice in Scientific Dialogue
His participation in this international scientific platform emphasized the importance of theological education in contemporary ethical and technological discourse.
The presentation sparked interest among experts and academic representatives, and was recognized as a noteworthy contribution to the development of the Kazakhstani model for artificial intelligence ethics.
