Bishop Gennady of Kaskelen Took Part in the 31st International Conference “The End of Globalism and the Future of the World - Meanings and Values of the Coming Era”

On December 3–4, 2025, the 31st International Conference “The End of Globalism and the Future of the World — Meanings and Values of the Coming Era” was held in the capital of Tunisia, organized by the International Foundation for the Spiritual Unity of Nations.

The theme of the scholarly forum was “The End of Globalism and the Future of the World - Meanings and Values of the Coming Era”.

The event was chaired by the president of the Foundation, Doctor of Philosophy and professor of the Faculty of Philosophy of Lomonosov Moscow State University, V.A. Alekseev, and by the Patriarchal Exarch of Africa, Metropolitan Constantine of Cairo and North Africa.

Participants of the forum included representatives of the Local Orthodox Churches, clergy of the Patriarchal Exarchate of Africa, the Middle East and Hungary, members of national parliaments, public and political figures, scholars, and publicists.

With the blessing of Metropolitan Alexander of Astana and Kazakhstan, Bishop Gennady of Kaskelen, Chancellor of the Kazakhstan Metropolitan District, sent a video message to the organizers and participants of the conference.

In his address, the hierarch spoke about the challenges of globalization and the incompatibility of this ideology with the Orthodox teaching on the human person.
