December 20, 2025. Almaty. By the blessing of Metropolitan Alexander of Astana and Kazakhstan, a morning celebration took place in the Hall of Church Assemblies at St. Nicholas Cathedral as part of the 16th Children’s Creative Festival “Christmas Angel.”
Participants in the event were pupils of the younger groups of the Central Sunday School.
Before the start of the celebration, the children partook of the Holy Mysteries of Christ during the Divine Liturgy in St. Nicholas Church.
The audience was welcomed by the school’s director, Galina Vasilievna Cherepanova.
The pupils of the younger groups then presented their talents to the guests. The children sang, danced, formed round dances, and performed short theatrical sketches.
At the conclusion of the festive program, each participant received a gift containing various sweets.
