June 5, 2026. Alma-Ata. With the blessing of Metropolitan Alexander of Astana and Kazakhstan, the admission of documents has begun for applicants to the pastoral, regency, and catechetical departments of the Alma-Ata Orthodox Theological Seminary for the 2026–2027 academic year.
Applications are accepted through the seminary office from June 20 to August 24 at the following address: 28/7 Baishev Street, Alma-Ata.
For out-of-town applicants, remote submission of documents in electronic format is available via the seminary’s email address: seminaria.kz@yandex.ru (scanned copies of documents are accepted).
Entrance examinations will take place on August 25–26.

Applicants are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the materials available in the “Preparation Guides” section, which contains foundational literature on the basics of Orthodox doctrine and links to online resources for preparation for the entrance examinations.
