On July 29, 2026, with the blessing of Metropolitan Alexander of Astana and Kazakhstan, Alma-Ata will host a meeting with the well-known preacher, missionary, and Orthodox blogger Priest Pavel Ostrovsky.
The event is being organized with the support of the Eleos-Meirim Public Foundation (President – V.M. Kapsamun).
Father Pavel Ostrovsky is the rector of St. George Church in the settlement of Nakhabino, Moscow Region, and the author of several books and numerous educational projects.
The meeting will take the form of an open discussion focusing on questions of spiritual life, family values, and Christian witness in the modern world. All are welcome to attend.
Time: 7:00 p.m.
Venue: Legends of the Peoples of Kazakhstan Park, at Kazan Cathedral (45a Khaliullina Street, Alma-Ata).
